All of our watches come with a 1 Year Warranty and if for any reason your watch stops functioning then simply write to us at support@thewatchshop.in or WhatsApp +91 9811799622 and we will have the watch picked up from your address, get it serviced and have it returned back to you, without any extra charge. The warranty does not cover damage to the watch due to it falling down or any accident or the regular wear & tear that happens over a period of time.
All of our watches are waterproof and you can wear them while washing hands or while it's raining as their water resistance is between 3ATM to 5ATM. However, do not wear the watches while swimming or showering, take them out when you do any of these activities.
On average, the watch battery should last between 16 to 24 months. It also depends upon various factors like if your watch is a chronograph watch then that would consume more power than just a simple analog watch which just shows the time.
If you are buying an Automatic watch, there is no quartz battery inside. An Automatic watch works on the kinetic energy generated by the movement of your hand. You need to wind it from time to time and your watch can run for years.
An Automatic watch has no battery inside and is powered by the energy generated by the movement of your hand. So once you get your watch for the first time, you need to manually wind it by twisting the crown of the watch clockwise 15-25 times. Once you do this, you will feel that the spring inside the watch tightens and the watch will get its initial charge. Now you can set the time and start wearing it on your wrist.
If you are wearing the watch for a minimum of 8-10 hours daily, then it will keep getting charged by the movement of your hand and it will have a power reserve of 12-14 hours. So you can even take the watch off at night and then wear it again in the morning. But from time to time, do wind it for it to keep getting charged.
